ok, i am 22 and ive never had a girlfriend or anything before! anyway, i don't know that many girls and i can't get to know any because of this!
i used to be very shy, and sort of still am, but ive been working on becoming more confident, but i have no way to show this!
ive tried everything!
- through friends- all my mate's girlfriend's mates are all taken and in relationships! they don't know anyone they can introduce me to either!
- through work- i work in a call centre full of geeks and desperate weirdos, and all the nice girls are taken!
- at clubs/bars- none are ever on the pull, and they're always with mates or hookiing up with someone else, reducing my confidence even more!
- online dating- ive swapped some emails but they usually stop writing after a few emails! 
- out of work clubs- these haven't worked as nottingham is useless for listings of clubs and activites- they're so hard to find!
does any1 know any other ways i can meet some nice single girls?
and don't say 'man up and just go and talk to some', cause that hasn't worked at all! i tried it at a party- talked to like 7 girls to raise ma confidence, and still none were intrested!

What you need to do is first get comfortable being single for awhile. Don't always be looking for someone. A lot of times that sort of behavior will land you up with no one at all. I'd just recommend honestly just keep living your life as you have been. You've been getting yourself out there, as you said yourself.. keep doing that. I'm 20 and never dated and I know how you feel. Sometimes it makes you go crazy… don't.
Just stay calm, keep (and I'm sorry I going to says this ha ha) talking to girls, and BE PATIENT, if there's one thing you seem to have mastered it is patience. Use it. And keep yourself open and sometime you'll have someone.

erm..i not totally sure
i'm 18 + never had a boyfrnd
but maybe u should just try to be friends with some and then things may grow.
maybe you could stare at the girl(s) you fancy whenever you see them and dont back down easily.
…a boy did this to me last year and it really made me think about him, i was curious as to why he was doing this…i Think he liked me but i'm not ToTally sure?
this was at a play/drama rehersal….maybe you could try different leisurly activities like this for example

hmmm… what do you mean by a few e-mails and they stop writing??? you still use e-mail? perhaps you should start using IM… i've check your page and it's not on… no wonder not much people can talk to you… perhaps you should try and on it to allow people to IM you??? and futhermore, if you are looking for online dating, you should let people know your address and stuff… perhaps do a blog… hmmm… getting couple thru frens is not really a good idea, neither de club… and you are working… probably try not to get a couple tat works with you in a same company, likely to create conflict… hmmm…. maybe you can try the IMVU software… it's really good for meeting people… or maybe you can try a few online games like maplestory or runescape… haha… maybe you should catch a few girls that answer your question to be your online gf??? open some pages and start to PM them??? if you would like to know the URL to those software, please IM me…
