I'm interested in working as a massage therapist, possibly combined with personal assistance and or activity-arrangments on cruiseships, touring groups; like musicians; theatergroups, sportsteams or other traveling companies that bring their own therapists.
Can someone tell me how the prosses goes?
Are there other requirements than massage therapist education? Any serious inputs and links is appreciated:-)

Call your local college and ask them.

I go to an Institute in Oakland, CA for Swedish massage. Once you get your Swedish massage certificate, you can apply any place. You are required hours to finish a basic Swedish massage certificate is 100-1,000 of hands of works. Depending on requirments of your state/city. I actually am doing my final exam tomorrow and I am done and can start working immediatly for myself.

But please becareful when applying for cruise ships and what not. Its not a vacation at all. They put you to work and your schedule is none stop for the whole cruise and or resorts. Good Luck
