Will it be easier to attain more clients? How well do the 2 certifications compliment each other?

Yes. There is a very successful Personal Trainer/ Massage Therapist in our town. His credentialling and understanding of both has helped attract and maintain the clientele he is interested in working with on a consistent basis. It sets him apart from anyone else in town. It is his niche in the market. 60% of his time is personal training and 40% is massage. It is a great balance for him because 60% of the time, the client is doing the physical work. I encourage the choice for both because the second credential is a small investment for the return you can obtain with increased clientele. You practically double your market potential having both credentials. Clients are attracted to credentials, whether they admit it or not. As an example, I have three certifications behind my name after my license and I have had people comment that was the reason they chose to contact me because it appeared I have more training than anyone else. Whether or not I do is up for argument, but when attracting clientele, it at least "appears" I do. Best wishes, I hope the pursuit(s) work out for you.

Getting certified has little to do with being successful and getting clients. Getting clients is more about the confidence you have in yourself and your ability to promote your business effectively.

The two professions compliment each other.
