If so, what was your experience like? Did you meet that special someone? Was it a disaster? Or is your experience best classified somewhere between those two extremes?
Details, please.
I used e-harmony (thank GOD i used a discount code).. i’ve had like 200 matches…sent out like 40 sets of questions.. no one has replied.. and 2 people who are old and live like 5000 miles away have sent me questions… And then i’ve had like 30 closed. Big waste of money. My roommate uses it to and got basically the same results. If you do find someone to talk to they’ll just randomly stop talking to you and it sucks.
Not worth it (i only paid 30/3 months but my roommate paid 100. Biggest waste of money EVER).
I know people who have tried plentyOfFish too.. and one girl met someone but then he turned out to be an idiot (you take you chances)..
If you really wanna try one you’re better to do a pay one and get a discount code online, because it kind of weeds out the creepy people or the people who arent serious about it.

Have you tried this site? It’s free and it asks you similar profile questions as Harmony.com and Match.com. I have tried both paid services and had the most success on this one. Goodluck.

I know a lot of people who have had great luck with dating websites. It can be overwhelming deciding which one to try out. I would recommend trying out one for free. I will provide the link below if you are interested in checking out one that my friends love.
I can think of ten relationships off the top of my head of people who I know personally that have met on dating sites. In fact, a friend of mine just got married a couple of weeks ago to an amazing guy she met on a dating site a couple of years ago.
You can be real on a dating site. You can say who you are looking for, who you are not looking for, what you like, dislike, etc. Beats the bar scene!
Good Luck to You! I hope you find who you are looking for!

I’ve tried eharmony and Yahoo! Personnals and honestly, there’s nothing like meeting people out and about. The people I met from there were utterly boring, shy, ect. I’m an outgoing person and I figured out WHY they had to resort to a dating cite. Go out and do other things because here’s what I gained from my "experience" with dating cites:
Normally the people on there are on there because they really can’t meet people in the real world. They want sex more than anything else. They’re shy and inconsistant. Not the greatest conversationalists to say the least. I mean.. I don’t know if it was ust the 12 guys that I met for dates but c’mon. That’s a pretty good number to make this assumption with.
Anyway, that was my experience. Lets just say, I’m happy I found my man I have right now and I didn’t meet him online.
