Brazil is considered the best simply becasue the have won most World Cups. They are not considered the best in the world because they won some friendly tournament or a Confederation or even an American Cup. Even if Brazil had only won the 5 World Cups they would stil be considered the best.
I am just curious to know how Americanistas claim to have so many title. I have some points about ther titles.
1- Many of those titles do not exist anymore; this means that these were simply poor tournaments.
2- Many of their titles were amateur titles.
The claim from many americanistas that they have so many cups, is the same clame that Romario has that he has scored more than 1000 goals, when many of those goal were on friendlies or when he was amatuer. He even counted some during training matches.
I just challenge any americanista out there to count how many of the competitions from which they have titles exists. How many existing titles do you have?

America is the best Mexican team, there's no doubt in that. They have won more titles than any other Mexican team and any other CONCACAF team, there's no doubt in that. It's not the best team in the Primera Divison, Chivas is, but it is the best Mexican and CONCACAF Team. The statistics and trophies are there, yeah some are discontinued but that has more to do with money issues than being a poor tournament. How are you gonna call America beating Boca Juniors for the Interamericana poor? Come on now. These are the stats, not counting Amateur titles:
National:
Primera Division: 10
International:
CONCACAF Champions League: 5
CONCACAF Giants Cup: 1
Copa Interamericana: 2
So that's 10 Primera Division Championships and 8 International Championships. Now tell us, which other Mexican team or any CONCACAF team that has won more titles than Club America? That's right, there ain't any. And this ain't coming from an Americanista, I'm just pointing out facts.

Well, ok the titles that the team has acquired throughout its existence are the following:
4 Era Amateur Nacionales por FEMEXFUT (Note that these are national titles not state like the ones chivas won while they were playing in a single region (occidental) and not nationally)
10 Titulos Profecionales (FMF Professional League titles)
5 Campeon de Copa
5 Campeon de Campeones de Mexico
5 Copas de Campeones de Concacaf
2 Campeon de Copa Inter-Americana
1 Campeon de Gigantes de la CONCACAF
See? the only tournament that is discontinued is the inter-Americana but still doesn't take away anything because it was disputed between the Copa Libertadores Champion and the CONCACAF champion….the CONCACAF is still going strong today and America is by far the team with most titles outside of Mexico.
Chivas has only one international title and teams such as Pachuca,Toluca, and Pumas have done better than them internationally.
The only amateur titles in there are the 4 National amateur titles but being honest Chivas has none of those, so if we count the existing titles America still beats Chivas and anyone else with those 5 CONCACAF titles.

I clearly stated that the Inter-Americana is discontinued, the Copa Is too. But the CONCACAF is still active and the Campeon de Campeones is too.
The last Campeon de Campeones was Toluca in 2006. The game was played against Pachuca and it ended 2-0 in favor of Toluca.
It seems to me that you just want to make less of what Club America has earned, believe me many people have tried to do that but at the end you just look like a hater and a closeted Anti-Americanista.
